Connect your Stripe account
Connect your firm's existing Stripe account so clients can pay invoices online.
Studiohaus uses Stripe to let your clients pay invoices online. You connect your firm's existing Stripe account — Studiohaus never holds your money. Payments go directly to your Stripe account, and Stripe's standard processing fees apply as they do for any charge you run.
Connecting
- Go to Settings → Payments.
- Click Connect Stripe. You'll be sent to Stripe to sign in and authorize Studiohaus.
- If your firm doesn't have a Stripe account yet, Stripe will walk you through creating one during the same flow.
- When you return, your status will show Connected.

What your clients see
Invoices you send include a Pay now button. Clients land on a secure Stripe checkout page showing your firm's name, pay by card, and the payment is recorded on the invoice automatically — including in the client portal.
Deposits and partial payments
If an invoice has an unpaid deposit, Pay now collects the remaining deposit amount, which can be less than the displayed balance. Once the deposit is covered, Pay now collects the remaining balance.
Pay links
Every newly sent invoice carries a pay link automatically. For invoices sent before payments were enabled, the link is created the first time you click Copy pay link on the invoice.
Refunds
Issue refunds from your Stripe dashboard. The refund will reflect on the Studiohaus invoice automatically. If you sync to QuickBooks, enter the refund there manually — automatic refund sync isn't included yet.
